Brisant

Then came the Episode 1 time. By now, it seemed every TV journalist and every event agency in Germany had our phone number, because we received almost every day calls from at least one reporter or agent. We had to disappoint most of them, because we still have regular jobs besides our R2 activities, and we canīt afford to lose those. ARD, one of Germanyīs major broadcasting stations, called Oliver E., a friend of mine and wanted to do two days of shooting at his home to make a report about the typical StarWars fan. So we assembled one weekend at Oliverīs home, where there were about a hundred lights, mikes and cameras set up in his not-to-big living room. Every one of us was interviewed in length, and a lot of outside shots in Stormtrooper costumes made on the street in front of Oliverīs house (to the amazement of the neighbours). Then these two days of fun and hard work were condensed into about five minutes of TV time. Thatīs the movie buisness.....Catering rating: *; The TV guys went for Lunch leaving us with Oliverīs bachelorīs fridge that contained mostly crisps.
