FACTS 2009 took place on October 17th/18th, 2009 in Gent, Belgium. This year was special because we had for the first time adjacent boothes with the french-speaking R2 builders (www.r2-d2.fr). It was fabulous meeting these guys, especially their Pastis-spending droids.....

The Wow-Effect when you entered our hall : The Belgian BCD fan club once again ecxeeded themselves.... These guys have by now rented a warehouse to store all their props.

The french Super-Drive. I suspect the motors to be 200 watts each, and two of them per feet. The droid was really, really, really fast. Actually too fast for the confined hallways.

A bit hard to see on these pictures, but these french (or french-speaking belgian) droids serve pastis drinks, a french specialty, and snacks. The french know their "Savoir vivre" !

We don´t know how Wim does it, but it´s always him who drags the really cute girls to our booths for a photo...... Lucky bastard !

Try to move your eyes to the long-haired freak lying in front of these stunning girls, still doing his weathering tutorial, with a lot of spectators.....
